Honda CRV

Honda CRV fans, you have a lot to be excited about for 2015 as the all-new CRV touring trim is coming out next month and is set to provide comfort, versatility, and economic efficiency. It will also offer a host of high-end luxury features that CRV fans will be ultimately satisfied with. For the first time in the history of Honda, the CRV will contain technology previously unheard of in any of their vehicles. For buyers looking for the ultimate compact SUV, the CRV Touring is the ultimate vehicle to own. Here is an overview of the new features and technology that you will experience and enjoy.

Honda Sensing

As previously mentioned, the 2015 Honda CRV Touring trim model has some new technology. This new technology is known as Honda Sensing, which is advanced technology that is designed to aid and assist drivers in many aspects of driving. Some features that this technology provides are:

  • Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS). This braking system uses a camera located between the windshield and rear view mirror and radar located behind the front grille of the bumper to detect vehicles ahead. Once the vehicle gets too close to another vehicle, the system immediately alerts the driver.
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). When the Adaptive Cruise Control is utilized, it enhances driving by automatically controlling the interval from each vehicle detected ahead.
  • Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS). This is the first time that Honda has added this feature to any of their vehicles. The Lane Keeping Assist System is designed to assist driver steering to keep the vehicle in the center of its detected lane. It also provides audio and visual alerts to users when the vehicle starts to leave any lane without the turn signal being activated. How the vehicle is able to achieve this is through a camera located between the windshield and rear view mirror. The role of this camera is to detect lane markers on the road. Once detected, the electric power steering system applies torque to return the vehicle to the middle of the lane in the event that the vehicle is not in the middle.
  • Lane Departure Warning (LDW). This warning system alerts the driver if their vehicle moves out of a detector lane. It also warns the driver if the vehicle gets too close to another vehicle.
  • Forward Collision Warning (FCW). Similar to the Lane Departure Warning, this also alerts the driver when the vehicle is out of the detector lane or is very near another vehicle.

All-new Bumper Grille

The 2015 Honda CRV Touring trim looks sleeker and sportier than previous CRV models as it has a newly designed front bumper grille. One amazing feature of the newly designed grill is its projector beam headlights that offer very impressive road vision especially at night.

All-new Rear Bumper

Another upgrade in the 2015 Honda CRV Touring trim is an all-new rear bumper that features the Touring logo. This logo distinguishes this vehicle from its other trim levels. Another upgrade that CRV fans will surely be excited for is the Power Tailgate feature in the rear bumper. This feature is very useful for users who are carrying numerous cargo items to the vehicles trunk. To open the trunk door, you simply click a button on the Key fob and the trunk door will automatically open. There is even a button located on the bottom of the trunk door which u can press to automatically close the trunk.

All-new Wheel Design

Yet another reason why the 2015 Honda CRV Touring trim model looks so sporty is its all-new wheel design. The 2015 Touring trim model comes complete with 18-inch alloy wheels. Located inside the wheels are glossy black inserts that add more style to its already premium look.

All-new Side-mirrors

The side-mirrors of the Touring trim are also different from other trim levels as it features turn indicators behind each side-mirror. These indicators have been stylishly integrated inside the side-mirror housings to provide added visibility while driving on the road.

Memory Positioned Seats

The 2015 Honda CRV Touring model provides users with many convenient features such as memory positioned seats. This feature allows drivers to select between 2 position memory seat settings. With the touch of these buttons, drivers will be able to find the perfect sitting position without having to adjust the seats any further.

To make a phone call or text message, your Android phone has to be synchronized with the system through Bluetooth connection. As it is connected making a phone call is very easy as you can use the lower buttons to control the upper screen. Here you can control call history and even select a number dialer on the lower screen. Through the touch screen capabilities you can click on the screen to dial a number.

The Honda Infotainment system provides you with numerous options to listen to your favorite music. By syncing your smart phone on the auxiliary ports, you will be able to load your favorite music on the lower touch screen where you can manually select tracks or playlists while on the road. Another option that you can use to play music is by changing the source of the touch screen. Here, you are provided with numerous options such as:
