2017 Toyota Camry

The Toyota Camry family sedan has held the title of America’s best-selling car for 14 years! With its comfortable and spacious interior, above-average rear seat space, generous trunk space, excellent outward visibility, luxury and sport trim levels for different driving preferences, specifically, the regular LE and XLE and the sport-themed SE and XSE; user-friendly interior controls on an elegant interface, smooth and powerful V6 engine along with excellent gas mileage, one cannot go wrong!

For 2017 Toyota Camry is a midsize sedan available in LE, SE, XSE and XLE trim levels. A Toyota Camry Hybrid version is also available.

With the 2017 Toyota Camry XSE Toyota gives its customers a little additional spice with the vigorous 3.5-liter V-6. Specific to the XSE are seats and door panels partially covered in faux suede; it also has a pair of steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters like those in the lower-level Camry SE.  You’ll find array of technology features, excellent safety scores and features including an Advanced Technology package which includes automated emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, lane-departure alert, and adaptive cruise control, navigation and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.

Along with the luxury-oriented Camry XLE, the XSE is the only other Camry model available with the V6 also comes with LED headlights, a proximity key with push-button start, a power sunroof, power and heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 7.0-inch touchscreen multimedia system. For 2017, the Camry XLE and XSE trim levels now have a premium sound system as standard equipment.

Standard equipment for the base Camry LE: 16-inch steel wheels, automatic headlights, heated mirrors, air-conditioning, keyless entry, a rearview camera, cruise control, an eight-way power driver seat with two-way power lumbar adjustment, 60/40 split-folding rear seatbacks, cloth upholstery, a 6.1-inch Entune touchscreen electronics interface, voice controls, Bluetooth connectivity, Siri Eyes Free and a six-speaker sound system with a CD player, an auxiliary audio jack and a USB/iPod interface.

Next in class, the Camry SE further includes: 17-inch alloy wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, sport-themed exterior styling and interior trim elements, cloth and synthetic leather upholstery and a leather-trimmed steering wheel with paddle shifters.

For the LE and SE a sunroof and the Entune Audio Plus package that includes an upgraded 7-inch touchscreen, satellite radio and HD radio are options.

For the luxury oriented XSE and XLE Toyota adds to the SE features: 18-inch wheels (XSE), LED running lights, leather and synthetic suede upholstery, heated front seats, a four-way power passenger seat, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear seat vents, the Entune Audio Plus package, a 10-speaker JBL premium sound system and proprietary wireless smartphone charging.

The Camry XLE favors the comfort-oriented suspension tuning of the LE and nixes the sporty styling elements. It also has 17-inch alloy wheels and full leather upholstery.

Always impressive with mileage figures, the Camry was rated at 21 mpg city and 30 mpg highway, but in some testing it returned a highway figure of 35-mpg run – how much will you get?
